MAC Spring 2010 Cohousing Tour

Mid Atlantic Cohousing (MAC) is sponsoring a Spring Cohousing Tour of six MAC member communities in the metropolitan Washington, DC area.

Join us on a comfortable tour bus with knowledgeable guides while we tour Eastern Village, Liberty Village, Catoctin Creek Village, EcoVillage, Blueberry Hill, and back to Eastern Village. Residents of each of these communities will lead an on-site visit. Join us for an exciting day of real-life examples of neighborhood choices from urban, to suburban, to rural.

You must be 18 or older to be on the bus.

Date: Saturday, May 15th, 2010, starting at 9am, ending around 6pm.

Starting/Ending Location: Tour starts and ends at Eastern Village, near the Silver Spring Metro station. See Directions below.
Food: Included are morning coffee and tea, lunch around noon, and late afternoon snacks.
Cost: $80 per person until May 1st, $85 per person after May 1st.

Directions to Eastern Village: From 495S, go South on Georgia towards DC.  Turn right on Eastern Avenue, and EVC will be on your right. EVC is at 7981 Eastern Ave on the border between Silver Spring and DC.  It is in the section of Eastern Avenue between 16th street and Georgia Ave and more specifically on the block between Newell and 13th Streets.   It is a U-shaped building with a metal arch and a courtyard.  Walk through the courtyard to the entrance to the Common House.
