We’re on the final countdown to acquiring the land, so things are getting very exciting here. We have completed our Due Diligence, and are awaiting the results of one final test. (The preliminary report was favorable, so we don’t anticipate a problem there.) The finances are lined up, and we are simply…..WAITING….. until September 1. The landowner is coming in to town to sign the paperwork live-and-in-person, so it should be a fun day. She is so excited that her land will be used in such an innovative way. I can’t wait to have the pleasure of meeting her.
We are planning a Neighbors’ Dessert and Coffee this Fall so we can meet the surrounding neighbors, get to know them, and address any questions or concerns they might have. We also hope to have a dedicated Township Meeting to do the same, but in a more formal setting. We encourage anyone with questions to come to one or both of these events. We’ll put things on the calendar as we get a firm schedule.
